  • Upon arrival at the Finish Location, devices will be inspected immediately. • Racer Teams must carry all food and water and are not permitted to resupply at any time during the Race.

The area is not independently mapped and we are not responsible for your navigation or your abilities to navigate. (Please note that this mapping will be inspected during the Kit Check.)

  • SUP teams must stay together for the duration of the Race, including overnight rest points, and be no more than 30 metres apart at any time.
  • Once a Racer Team stops to rest they must indicate their stop using their SPOT tracker and then turn the device off. Once the 6 hour mandatory rest time has passed, Racer Teams may begin paddling again.
  • Racer Teams are responsible for their own time management. We reserve the right to disqualify Racer Teams in respect of any creeping early departures.
  • Racer Teams must ensure all camp fires are put out and rubbish collected before leaving rest points.
  • Racer Teams must support each other (if possible to do so safely) in the event of an emergency. We reserve the right to disqualify Racer Teams if either team member displays any unsportsmanlike behaviour.
  • The Race Organisers reserve the right to pull Racer Teams from the Race at Dawson City should they fall too far behind the other participants to make the Race cut-off time.
  • Racer Teams will finish the Race at the Finish Location. Exit will be covered in detail at the pre-Race brief.
